we have arrived

Spent our first day in Seattle. The flight, luggage and car all went smoothly. Did some stuff in Seattle, including the glass museum. We enjoyed the museum, but it was a little bit of a disappointment because it was all blown glass rather than fused. There is a MAGINIFCENT bridge
with blown glass by dale chihulli...it was MAGIFICENT!!

Now we are at Monte and Marks for dinner.

ETB tonight and then off hiking SOMEWHERE...not sure we've decided where yet.

Our room has a spectacular view of an inlet that is part of Oyster Bay, might be called ostrich bay...no one here is sure...LOTS of water, HUGE evergreen trees, and clean air

We are seeing light at the end of the tunnel.  Soon we will have to be packed and whatever we have, time will be up and we'll be on our way!!!

The girls came for our "have a great summer adventure" dinner.  As always, it was great to be together.

there are suitcases, clothes and maps everywhere. Sari is busy buying and returning stuff EVERY day!!
